Since 2005, we’ve been proud to offer the most comprehensive women's health and family yoga program in the area, designed to meet you exactly where you are and help you move through your life stages with more ease and strength.

Our signature Prenatal Yoga classes, offered multiple times a week, focus on preparing you for childbirth through yoga-based relaxation, breathing techniques, and strength-building postures. We offer a comprehensive approach to prenatal wellness, balancing mindfulness techniques with physical preparation for the challenges and changes ahead.

More about our programs

Our Signature Prenatal Program

  • Mondays, 5:30-6:30p with Cami
  • Thursdays, 5:30-6:30p with Dana (NEW)
  • Sundays, 11:30a-12:30p with Kristen

In our prenatal classes you will learn techniques to support your changing body and prepare you for childbirth, such as:

  • Yoga-based relaxation skills for cultivating present moment awareness, mindfulness and focus
  • Breathing practices for calming the mind and the nervous system, as well as breath work suitable for labor
  • Yoga postures for strengthening leg, hip and back muscles to help you prepare for the athletic feat of childbirth
  • Tools to cultivate positive thinking and letting go of worry

Each class will be built around one of these four themes and will always include breathing, stabilizing postures, safe stretching, pelvic floor and core strengthening, relaxation and a brief meditation. Read more about our philosophy and background here.

Prenatal yoga is most effective when done frequently. We recommended two classes a week, if possible, throughout your pregnancy. Your body and your baby will thank you!

Pricing: Normal drop-in class rates apply.

Baby & Me Yoga

Mondays, 4:15-5p in studio

Want to get some exercise, meet other parents and spend time with your little one? Join Cami Codell, a postnatal and kids yoga specialist, for this fun and educational weekly class! You can expect:

  • Poses to address your aches, pains and recovery process, if appropriate
  • Yoga that entertains baby and strengthens the parent
  • Basic massage and baby yoga
  • Time to connect with others in your life stage

For ages 6 weeks to 12 months, unless your baby is an active walker, which is not recommended for this class. All parents are welcome. Class will be inclusive to all birth and parenting choices.

Pricing: Normal drop-in class rates apply.

Yoga & Strength Training for Women

Tuesdays, 7-8p in studio and on Zoom

Having a female body is complex. Each life stage brings new questions and challenges. Join Dana Podell, women's health physical therapist, in this class that is specifically designed for your needs. She will lead yoga and strength training that targets joint instability, core and pelvic floor rehabilitation and other adaptations for curvier, more flexible bodies. As well, you will have the opportunity to connect with other like-minded women- we encourage you to invite your friends!

Why is this class "women only"?
We often get requests for female-only classes, mainly for religious and cultural reasons, but also because women experience different physical needs and changes as they age and can benefit from a therapeutic yoga practice to directly support them. People with sensitivities around body image and other related insecurities may also feel more relaxed in a female-only class.

Anyone with a female body is welcome to join this new Tuesday night class. Concerns related to the menstrual cycle, perinatal life stage, perimenopause, menopause and bone health will be addressed, as well as working with building pelvic floor awareness and health to maintain urogenital health. Make peace with your body by learning practices that are more specifically designed with your physiological structures in mind!

Pricing: Normal drop-in class rates apply.

Postpartum Support & Embodiment Group

See current dates here

Have you recently given birth and feel a little (or a lot) discombobulated? Join Kristen Simons, licensed psychotherapist, yoga teacher and mother for this 6 week support group to help you reconnect with yourself and meet other new moms.

This series is for you if:

  • You're feeling isolated and overwhelmed by your life with a new baby (between 4 weeks and 8 months old)
  • You're a first time mom, a second time mom or a many time mom and looking to connect with others who can relate!
  • You're experiencing some discomfort post-pregnancy and birth that you have questions or concerns about
  • You want some simple self-regulation tools to manage stress and anxiety

This is a type of group therapy that will also have experiential components, including simple movement practices. Each class will focus on a different theme each week:

  1. Relearning Your Body After Birth: Am I Still Me?
  2. Pelvic Floor Care: Understanding the Healing Process
  3. Mental Health Strategies: Caring for Your Mind & Energy Levels
  4. Self-Compassion: Developing a Kinder Approach
  5. Finding Connection in the Chaos: Bonding, Friendship and Partnership
  6. Moving Forward: An Integration of Body, Mind and Spirit

Limited to ten in-person slots. You do not need to attend all six, but you are required to sign up for the whole series, as we aren't allowing drop-ins. We strongly recommend you to attend without your baby, so that you can focus on yourself.
