Mindbody made an update to their software recently which may affect your login experience. Their goal is to create a universal Mindbody account that works across all studios that use Mindbody - gyms, yoga studios, salons, all through one login. They have now initiated a forced update for all users that may create some issues in the transition.
If you have only ever used Mindbody through our Grateful Yoga site, when you go to sign in it's going to ask you to create a new account. When you do this, use the same email you have always used to sign in for your Grateful Yoga Mindbody account. You will not be creating a new account with Grateful Yoga. You are creating your universal Mindbody account. Once you create it you, should be able access your GY account and schedule as usual.
If you already have a universal Mindbody account that you've used to access classes at multiple studios including GY, two things could happen.
1.) You've used the same email for your GY account as you have on this universal Mindbody account. Use your universal Mindbody account email and password to sign in and you should have access to your GY account as you always have.
2.) You've used one email for your GY Mindbody account and a different email for your universal Mindbody account. If this is you, when you try to use your GY Mindbody email login, it's going to direct you to create a new account. Instead, start using your universal Mindbody credentials when you sign into the GY Mindbody site and you should be able to access your TPY account as you usually do. If it doesn't automatically merge the accounts, you'll have to do this manually. Unfortunately, they've made it so I cannot help you do this. But, I've included instructions on below. We hope this will give you the information you need to get into your account. In theory, Mindbody has set it up so that your universal Mindbody account should automatically get connected to your GY account.
BUT, in this update they have made it impossible for us to help you with your account information directly on the backend. Here are some more troubleshooting ideas:
If your Universal Mindbody login does not automatically connect you to your GY account, you will need to manually link the accounts.
- Login to your Universal Mindbody account here: https://account.mindbodyonline.com/
- Click Places You Go on the left side
- Click Start Searching and enter Grateful Yoga
- Enter the same email address and password you've used to sign in to your GY Mindbody account in the past
- Click Sign in to link your old GY account to your new, shiny, univeral Mindbody account
Struggling to Sign in?
If you previously logged into the Mindbody App (which is your Universal Mindbody account) using Apple or Google and want to disconnect, you can manage and disconnect linked accounts by logging in to account.mindbodyonline.com.
Password not working? You will have to reset your own password using the “Forgot Password” option on the login page. We cannot help you with this any longer.
“Email in use” error: If you sees the error message "This email has already been used to create a Mindbody account," it usually means there’s a password mismatch with an existing Mindbody account using that email. To resolve this, use the “Forgot Password” option on the login page
